Then, join the community batik painting session — play with colors, add your own touch, and help complete our very own "Bersama in the Bay" batik artwork.

You'll hear relatable memories and even be invited to share your own.

Attendees will be invited to play classic games in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. It's a warm, interactive experience that captures the spirit of togetherness across Malaysian, Indonesian, and Singaporean cultures.

A “Surprise” Traditional Showcase

Celebrate and shine in your heritage, and capture the moment at our Baba Nyonya–inspired photo booth. Dressing up isn't required, but it adds an extra layer of joy and connection to the night.

Tari Serampang Dua Belas

PRESENTED BY ROSIE KASIM

Tari Serampang Dua Belas is a traditional dance from the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. It illustrates the journey of two people from their very first meeting all the way to marriage, carrying special messages about finding a life partner in keeping with the moral and cultural values of the Malay tradition.

The dance is famous for its twelve expressive movements that narrate the stages of a young couple's romance — from the excitement of a first meeting, through the trials of loyalty and commitment, to the final union symbolized by the tying of a handkerchief. It is a graceful celebration of love, perseverance, and timeless cultural values.
