Register as Individual or Group?
When registering, the first prompt is for Individual or Group. Individual still means you can register multiple people in one registration. Group means you can name your group so we can know to best seat you and other registrations of the same group at the same table. See below for more details.

Can I seat with together with my friends, family, or colleagues?
Yes. We have enabled a feature on EventBrite called Group Registration.
When you register, you will be asked whether you want to register as an Individual or as part of a Group. Individual registrations can still include multiple people in one registration. A Group registration in addition lets you tag your registration to a group name.
After selecting Group, you can either pick an existing group (or table) to join, or make a new group. To make a new group, choose a distinct name, such as "Tan AK Family", "NCSV Batch 25" or "PwC Team Red". There isn't a way to see all the existing Groups, unfortunately, but if you type the first two letters of a group name, the field will auto-suggest matching groups.
Proceed with your registration.
Next, give this group name to your other friends, family or colleagues. When they enter and choose to register as a group, they enter the same name and join your group (aka table). Groups are limited to a max of 10 (i.e. the table size). Toddlers can join the table but do not count towards table seats (they get their own high chairs).
When we assign table seating, we will do our best to keep groups seated together in one table (a group of exactly 10 will make this easier). We will still try very much to keep individual registrations together. We strongly recommend that families be registered in a single order, i.e. please do not register your children or toddlers separately.
Is there an early bird discount?
Yes, but only for Singaporeans and Singapore PR. When registering, select "Enter Promo Code", then use the code, "EarlyBird" to get $5 off any Singaporean and Singapore PR tickets. There are a limited number of codes, so register early before they run out!
Is there a vegetarian meal option?
Yes. Please check "Yes" to the request vegetarian meal during registration. You will be seated with others who request such a meal and we will arrange with the restaurant to substitute the menu with vegetarian options.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
There are no ID nor minimum age requirements. However, we require that children and toddlers be seated and accompanied by at least one supervising adult.
Why are there different ticket prices for Singaporeans and Singapore PR?
Due to the financial support of the Overseas Singaporean Unit (OSU) for events that bring Singaporeans together, we can offer lower prices to Singaporeans and Singapore PR attendees.
Singaporeans and Singapore PR are those who possess a Singapore-issued NRIC number. For children who do not yet have an NRIC, we will consider those who are born in Singapore, or those who have registered for a citizenship certificate number, to be one.
Although toddlers are free, we still need to distinguish between toddlers who are Singaporeans or Singapore PR vs. those who are not, so as to help us compile the most complete (i.e. largest) number of Singaporean attendees at the event.
For auditing purposes we will provide a list of names and email addresses to the OSU of those who have purchased and attended the event, only for the Singaporeans and Singapore PR tickets. If you do not wish your name to be provided, you may consider purchasing the regular tickets instead.

Why are there only a limited number of tickets for non-Singaporeans and non-Singapore PR?
Due to the financial support of the Overseas Singaporean Unit (OSU) for events that bring Singaporeans together, we need to ensure that the majority of the attendees at the event are Singaporean or Singapore PR.
Who may be considered students?
There is no age limit for students, but they should be full-time students, i.e. enrolled in primary or secondary school, junior college, polytechnic, university, K-12, college, or graduate school.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Dynasty is in San Jose, near Happy Hollow Park & Zoo. It is accessible by I-680, US-101, and I-280.

There is ample free parking adjacent to the restaurant. The nearest BART station is Fremont and Caltrain station is San Jose, then you will likely want to take a bus. You may also want to utilise ride-sharing (i.e. Uber/Lyft) or rental car services (i.e. ZipCar).

What can I bring into the event?
As this is a family-friendly event, please, no weapons, alcohol, and such. Due to the restaurant's hygiene policy and for the safety of the other guests, we also ask that you please do not smoke nor bring in your pets.
You are welcome to bring in hong baos (red packets) to decorate the table or give to the lion dancers, and to dress festively for the Chinese New Year!
Can I pay at the door with cash?
Yes. However, our preference is for you to register and pay in advance, with a credit/debit card, via our online registration system. You can purchases all the way till an hour after the event starts, even at the door (if there are still seats available) using your smartphone, or perhaps a friend's smartphone.
If you would like to pay cash at the door, the Last-Minute Adult ticket (if available) of $58 can be paid in cash at the door.
How will the transaction appear on my credit card statement?
The charge on your statement will appear as "EB * [2017 LUNAR NEW YEAR] SAN FRANCISCO CA". If you have any questions about charges starting with "EB" or "EVENTBRITE", that you think you may have incurred due to this event, please contact the organiser first before your credit card issuer or bank. We will prefer to resolve this with you directly as involving the bank will involve additional time to handle their inquiries and may result in transaction charges on our end.
What's the transfer or refund policy?
We have enabled the transfer feature in Eventbrite, which will allow you to make modifications to your order such as to transfer between ticket types and pay the cost difference. Transfers may be reviewed to ensure the integrity of the event. To avoid frivilous transfers, a nominal $2 transfer fee will be added to each transfer.

Refunds are solely at the organiser's discretion. We will in general only refund if tickets have been sold out and we have a waitlist of attendees who will purchase the tickets immediately after the refund.
Please refrain from contacting your credit card issuer or bank to request that the transaction be refunded, as this will incur a transaction charge on our end.
